Hateful Gladiator is the second, considerably more purple tier of PvP Gear. It's for players who are serious about PvP, and have the commitment and coordination to compete at a decent level. Weapons and shoulders naturally comprise the higher ends, with rating requirements in the neighborhood of the high 1700s and low 1800s. As you can see, this gear isn't for everyone. It isn't even for most players. Like Savage Gladiator gear, it costs both Honor and Arena points, but not as much as you may be imagining -- the Honor costs are around the same, but they'll cost twice the Arena points, if the beta figures stand.
